In this role, you will build relationships with contractors, builders, and construction professionals while providing product recommendations, preparing quotes, and managing customer orders. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, and commercial customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
- Prepare accurate quotes, bids, and sales orders.
- Follow up on quotes to convert opportunities into sales.
- Coordinate with outside sales representatives, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
- Stay informed about construction materials, products, pricing, and industry trends.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of Construction inside sales or construction industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of construction materials, building products, or industrial supplies is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
