Bachelor's Degree or other advanced certificate desirable5+ Years of experience on small to large, commercial/government building construction projectsFacilities Asset Management experience performing preventative maintenance on assets, preferredBroad building construction experience with multi-disciplined trades including civil, structural, MEP, security installations and coordination of IBC Special InspectionsConstruction Cost Estimating skills; Risk Mitigation/Claim Mitigation TrainingExcellent communication skills (oral & written)Proven supervisory skills in managing construction management teams including other construction managers, construction inspection personnel and field office personnelExcellent Construction Phase eDocumentation Skills required for preparing:Daily Reports utilizing government construction management reporting softwareSubmittal & RFI Tracking LogsDeficiency/Corrective Action ReportsConstruction Schedule Status ReportsOther Reports utilizing industry standard construction management softwareExcellent Technical Writing Skills required for preparing:Construction Phase Progress ReportsSchedule Status ReportsMeeting Agendas and MinutesMust be willing to work nights and overtime, when required by the project assignmentUS citizenship requiredPhysical Requirements (Essential Functions):This position requires the ability to perform a variety of physical tasks in the field as part of the essential job functions. Duties may include:Walking and navigating across rough or uneven terrain such as mud, rocks, grass, dirt, steep hillsides, heavily wooded areas, and other unpaved surfacesMoving around active project sites, which may involve climbing ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, or polesPerforming physical activities such as bending, twisting, kneeling, and climbingRemaining in a stationary position—either standing or sitting—for extended periods of timeRepetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingersLifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds and/or carting objects up to 50 lbs distances up to 50 yards.Driving to and from project sites which may involve distances of up to or exceeding 75 miles round trip.Must be able to function safely in an environment with potential risks, including, but not limited to those described in this document.The work environment may include exposure to a range of environmental conditions, including high and low temperatures, precipitation, and other outdoor elements.
