Duties: Working alongside experienced Construction Inspectors and Construction Managers, the selected candidate will:

  • Assist with inspecting work performed by construction contractors to ensure conformance with contract plans and specifications
  • Support field inspections and maintain accurate project documentation
  • Report daily construction progress and track quantities of work performed
  • Gain exposure to construction management, contract administration and quality assurance processes
  • Help identify, document and assist in resolving construction challenges in the field.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college program, with a minimum of two years completed toward a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
  • Prior work experience preferred, with demonstrated ability to take direction and work collaboratively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • General knowledge of: Construction means and methods, construction Materials, reading and interpreting plans and specifications, quantify takeoffs and basic calculations, document controls practices, construction management software such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, and Safe Estimating.

Additional Requirements

  • Employees or Co-Ops assigned to driving duties ("drivers") must have a current, valid US State driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Keville's driving policy.
  • OSHA 10 certification is a condition of employment.
