Your Opportunity
Your role is to work with general supervision and direction on average sized projects, and as a team member of a larger project under the guidance of a Project Engineer.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Inspects and reviews projects during construction, monitoring conformance with plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Monitors the progress of construction activities, ensuring cost, schedule and quality standards are met.
- Generates daily inspector reports documenting construction activities activities, utilizing eConstruction processes, records and notifies supervisor regarding of any non-conforming work.
- Inspects and documents contractor's construction activities including: maintenance of traffic, excavation, drainage systems, erosion/sediment/control, Hot Mix Asphalt and Concrete pavement, miscellaneous structures and calculates quantities and costs.
- Examines construction materials, checking to see if they meet specifications.
- Reviews plans, specifications, submittals, construction schedules, shop drawings and pay applications.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
