Job Title: Construction Inspector
Job Description
This role focuses on providing construction administration, inspection, and testing services for a wide range of civil infrastructure projects, including roadway and bridge, water and wastewater, aviation, commercial, and municipal utility and infrastructure projects. The Construction Inspector reads and interprets project drawings and specifications, performs field inspections and testing, and helps ensure that contractors meet all quality standards, plans, and specifications. The position offers the opportunity to apply technical expertise in construction inspection, contribute to high-profile public and private projects, and collaborate closely with project engineers and project managers to resolve issues and maintain project quality and compliance.

Work Environment
This position is field-based and requires working outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the year. The role typically involves working 50 to 60 hours per week, which may include extended days and occasional weekend work depending on project needs. The Construction Inspector regularly works on active construction sites such as roadways, bridges, utilities, and other civil infrastructure, and uses standard field testing equipment and tools for materials testing (e.g., for concrete, soils, asphalt, aggregates, masonry, reinforcing steel, and related materials). The work environment emphasizes safety, collaboration with project engineers and project managers, and adherence to quality and testing standards.
