* Conduct daily on-site inspections of construction work to verify adherence to project plans and municipal requirements.
* Monitor construction activities, materials, methods, and workmanship for compliance with specifications.
* Document field conditions, daily activities, and inspection results accurately and clearly (paper and electronic reporting).
* Assist in identifying, reporting, and following up on construction non-compliance issues.
* Communicate with contractors, project managers, engineers, and municipal staff as needed.
* Prepare routine inspection reports and support project documentation.
* Ensure safety practices are followed on site.
Qualifications
Required
* Bachelor"s degree or associate degree encouraged
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and related documents.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Good communication skills (written and verbal).
* Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
* Reliable transportation and valid driver"s license.
Strongly preferred
* Relevant construction inspection experience (municipal, land development, utilities, etc.).
* Familiarity with civil site construction practices.
* Technical coursework in construction, engineering technology, or related fields.
* Experience preparing inspection reports or using electronic field reporting tools.
