Responsibilities include inspecting construction work, reviewing plans for constructability, scheduling site inspections, coordinating outages, preparing detailed reports, maintaining project files, tracking construction progress, and establishing effective contractor relationships.
Supervising and mentoring Junior Inspectors is also part of the role.
Qualifications include 2-5 years of field inspection experience, knowledge of construction standards, safety regulations, and technical procedures, along with strong communication and record-keeping skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate Degree is preferred.
