Job Description
Construction Commercial Interiors Project Manager - Manhattan, NYC
- Manage commercial interiors projects from preconstruction through completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, consultants, and ownership teams
- Oversee procurement, contract administration, and change order management
- Lead client meetings and provide regular project updates
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve construction, scheduling, and budget challenges
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and NYC building regulations
- Collaborate closely with field teams to maintain quality standards and project milestones
- Manage project financials, including forecasting and reporting

The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Manager should have:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial interiors construction
- Strong background delivering corporate office fit-outs, tenant improvement, or workplace renovation projects
- Thorough understanding of scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and construction operations
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and maintaining strong client relationships
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of NYC construction practices, regulations, and market conditions
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
