Construction Commercial Interiors Project Manager - Manhattan, NYOur client is a well-established General Contractor with a strong presence in the New York City commercial interiors market. Known for delivering high-quality corporate office, tenant improvement, and workplace fit-out projects, they have built lasting relationships with leading tenants, landlords, architects, and developers throughout Manhattan.Job DescriptionLead multiple commercial interiors projects from planning through final completion. Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and financial reporting. Oversee procurement, subcontractor buyout, and vendor coordination. Serve as the primary client contact and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and field teams to ensure successful execution. Review and negotiate change orders, subcontracts, and project documentation. Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues proactively. Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Strong background in corporate office fit-outs, tenant improvements, and workplace renovations within NYC. Comprehensive understanding of budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, and cost control. Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships. Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing project teams and multiple concurrent projects. Knowledge of NYC construction regulations, building standards, and industry best practices.
