Commercial Interior Construction Project ManagerOur client is a highly respected commercial interior subcontractor that has been delivering quality construction services throughout the New York and New Jersey markets for over 30 years. Founded by a veteran with nearly two decades of experience at leading general contractors, the company specializes in interiors construction including framing, drywall, carpentry, acoustical ceilings, painting, doors, and hardware installations.Manage 5-10 commercial interior construction projects simultaneously, ranging from approximately $100K to $9 million in value.Oversee all phases of project execution, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and project closeout.Coordinate with field teams, clients, architects, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.Develop and maintain project schedules while proactively mitigating risks, delays, and potential cost impacts.Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Utilize project management and estimating software platforms, including Procore (preferred), and Bluebeam/OnScreen Takeoff where applicable.5-10+ years of commercial construction project management experience.Strong preference for experience within interior trades, including drywall, framing, carpentry, ceilings, painting, doors and hardware, or related interior construction scopes.Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects with minimal oversight.Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and cost control.Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.Experience working on commercial, healthcare, hospitality, retail, or corporate interiors projects is highly desirable.Competitive base salary: up to 135K (based on experience)Annual bonus based on individual and company performance.Comprehensive health, dental, vision insuranceStable and growing organization with a strong reputation and long-term growth strategy.Opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of commercial interior projects throughout New York and New Jersey.Direct access to executive leadership and the ability to make a meaningful impact within a close-knit organization.
