Commercial Interiors Superintendent - Manhattan, NYCOur client is a well-established General Contractor with a strong reputation in the New York City commercial interiors market. They specialize in corporate office fit-outs, tenant improvements, and workplace renovations, delivering high-quality spaces for leading tenants, landlords, and commercial real estate firms across Manhattan.Job DescriptionManage all on-site construction activities from project start through closeout. Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure work progresses according to plan. Maintain and enforce project schedules, sequencing, and site logistics. Coordinate closely with Project Managers, clients, architects, and consultants. Conduct daily site inspections and quality control reviews. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, site safety standards, and NYC building requirements. Lead subcontractor meetings and coordinate trade activities to avoid conflicts and delays. Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on track. Strong background managing corporate office fit-outs, tenant improvements, and workplace renovations. Thorough understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and trade coordination. Ability to lead multiple subcontractors and maintain productive jobsite operations. Strong knowledge of NYC construction practices, safety regulations, and quality standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
