Our client is a well-established General Contractor with a strong reputation in the New York City commercial interiors market. They specialize in corporate office fit-outs, tenant improvements, and workplace renovations, delivering high-quality spaces for leading tenants, landlords, and commercial real estate firms across Manhattan.
Manage all on-site construction activities from project start through closeout. Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure work progresses according to plan. Maintain and enforce project schedules, sequencing, and site logistics. Coordinate closely with Project Managers, clients, architects, and consultants. Conduct daily site inspections and quality control reviews. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, site safety standards, and NYC building requirements. Lead subcontractor meetings and coordinate trade activities to avoid conflicts and delays. Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on track. Maintain project documentation including daily reports, inspections, and progress updates.

A successful Construction Superintendent should have: Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial interiors construction projects. Strong background managing corporate office fit-outs, tenant improvements, and workplace renovations. Thorough understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and trade coordination. Ability to lead multiple subcontractors and maintain productive jobsite operations. Strong knowledge of NYC construction practices, safety regulations, and quality standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage fast-paced projects with tight deadlines and occupied building constraints.
