Position Duties:
  • Work under the supervision of Senior Schedulers and Project Schedulers to provide construction schedule review comments for contractor-generated Baseline Schedules and Monthly Schedule updates based on LAUSD review templates
  • Assist the scheduling team in creating and populating various schedule related reports in Excel and P6 software
  • Create Earned Value Curves based on LAUSD EVA template guidelines
  • Perform QA/QC on contractors’ schedule submittals for conformance with contract scope and requirements
  • Analyze schedules for proper use of program level standard codes, layouts and reports necessary to ensure data integrity
  • Perform QA/QC on P6 program schedules and validate logic ties to ensure conformance with scheduling guidelines for various project types
  • Update the master program schedule with as-built start and finish dates while coordinating input from various Facilities teams on projected/forecast sequential start/finish dates
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Required Experience:

  • One (1) yearfull-time paid professional experience responsible in Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably on multiple educational facilities or public works projects
Required Education:
  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or construction management.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version (P6 v19) and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff
