Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our growing team. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and are committed to maintaining the highest safety standards on construction sites. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced construction professionals on various residential, commercial, and industrial projects, contributing to all phases of construction from site preparation through project completion.

As a Construction Laborer, you will be an essential member of our construction crew, performing a wide range of physical tasks that support skilled tradespeople and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our exacting quality standards. This role requires someone who is physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to learn and grow within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

Site Preparation and Maintenance

• Prepare construction sites by cleaning and removing debris, obstacles, and hazardous materials
• Set up and maintain barricades, cones, and safety signage to protect workers and the public
• Assist in the layout and measurement of construction sites according to blueprints and specifications
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the duration of projects
• Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and transport them to designated areas
• Perform end-of-day cleanup and secure job sites to prevent theft and unauthorized access

Construction Support Activities

• Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other materials as directed
• Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact earth using hand tools and power equipment
