Description:

• Perform demolition and removal of drywall, sheetrock, insulation, ceiling materials, and other designated building materials.
• Use hand and power tools to safely remove materials as directed.
• Carry, load, and transport demolition debris from the work area to dumpsters, trailers, or designated disposal locations.
• Separate and dispose of materials according to site requirements.
• Sweep, shovel, and remove dust, loose debris, and construction waste.
• Protect surrounding areas, equipment, and materials from unnecessary damage during demolition
• Follow instructions from supervisors, project managers, and other authorized personnel.
• Follow all jobsite safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Properly use and care for tools, equipment, and safety gear.
• Perform other general construction labor and cleanup duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience with construction demolition
• Ability to measure and read blueprints accurately.
• Strong understanding of construction safety practices.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work on ladders/scaffolding.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce smooth finishes.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools (saws, routers, sanders, drills).
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
• Must have a REAL ID
