A local growing construction company in the Altoona area is looking to hire a hardworking Construction Laborer with opportunities to learn the trade and advance into a carpenter position.
We are seeking hard-working and reliable construction worker for a laborer position. You will assist foremen and skilled tradespeople with daily site operations, material handling, and basic equipment operation.
Construction Laborer Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Gathering Materials, load, unload, and stage building materials and tools at job sites.
Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, trash, and hazards.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery (training provided if needed).
Assist carpenters and other crew members as directed.
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions.
Must be self-motivated, punctual and willing to learn the trade.
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
Previous construction experience is a plus, but entry-level applicants with a strong drive to learn are encouraged to apply.
