Construction Laborer

We are a busy construction firm and are always hiring dedicated construction laborers to join our team. You will be responsible for general construction duties, including but not limited to, installing fencing, digging trenches, cutting and patching concrete, operating hand and power tools. and following directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen.

To do well in this role you should be physically fit, reliable, be a self starter and a hard worker.

Construction Laborer Responsibilities:

• Assist with general construction duties, including but not limited to, installing fencing, digging trenches, cutting and patching concrete, operating hand and power tools.
• Perform manual labor tasks, such as lifting and carrying heavy materials.
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Load or unload construction materials and equipment.
• Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding.
• Remove, fill, or compact earth.
• Follow instructions from supervisors.
• Assist metal fabricators.
• Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
• Perform site and equipment clean-up.
• Follow safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

Construction Laborer Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must have experience in the construction industry.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift at least 80 lbs. unassisted and do other strenuous physical tasks.
• Ability to work in all weather.
• Workers must be punctual and reliable.
• Be a self starter with integrity.
