Construction Laborer
Location: Myrtle Beach, SC 29579 Pay: $18.00 per hour Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM Job Type: Full-Time Overtime: Regular overtime and occasional Saturday work may be required based on business and project needs.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Laborer to assist with swimming pool and spa construction projects. This position involves supporting construction crews with site preparation, material handling, equipment setup, cleanup, and other general labor duties.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors, performing physically demanding tasks, and traveling to different job locations throughout the workday.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with swimming pool and spa construction projects.
Prepare job sites by moving materials, tools, and equipment.
Load and unload construction materials and supplies.
Assist with digging, grading, trenching, demolition, and general site preparation.
Use basic hand and power tools safely.
Support skilled technicians and construction crew members as directed.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
Follow all company safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
Operate company vehicles when authorized.
Perform additional construction and general labor duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous construction, landscaping, concrete, excavation, or general labor experience is preferred.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Must have a clean and acceptable driving record.
Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to the designated reporting location.
Ability to work overtime and Saturdays when needed.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull construction materials and equipment.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions, including heat and humidity.
Ability to safely perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
