    Job Title: Construction Laborer - Pipe Layer

    Salary: Competitive compensation package based on experience.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Unload and carry materials at construction sites.
    • Clean up site from debris and discarded material.
    • Determine presence of obstructions.
    • Operates hand or power tools.
    • Dig trenches with trenching tools.
    • Cover pipes with dirt or other material
    • Must be willing to complete manual labor.
    • Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators, and tampers.
    • Conduct work with 100% integrity and professionalism.
    • Experience placing concrete preferred.

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

    • Ability to receive written or oral instructions.
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationship with field and office personnel.
    • Must be committed to contributing to a culture of safety, looking out for yourself and others.
    • Basic knowledge of working with concrete pipe.
    • landfill experience preferred.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body,

    such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.

    • Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.
    • Must have good hand-eye coordination, quick reaction times.
    • Able to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toed boots.
    • Able to walk moderate distances to reach work area up to 1/2 mile
    • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local

    standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

    • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
    • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
    • Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment drug screen
