We are seeking a reliable and experienced Construction Laborer to assist our lead contractor on active building projects. This role is hands-on and requires a strong understanding of construction processes, tools, and safety practices.
This is a Monday-Friday position, 10 AM - 6 PM.
Responsibilities:
Assist the main contractor with daily construction tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans.
Operate and maintain power tools and construction equipment.
Prepare job sites, load/unload materials, and keep work areas clean.
Follow instructions accurately and work efficiently as part of a team.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
Requirements:
MUST have prior construction experience (this is not an entry-level position).
Ability to read and understand schematics and building plans.
Proficiency with power tools and general construction equipment.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions.
Good communication skills and ability to take direction.
Preferred:
Experience working alongside a licensed contractor.
Familiarity with multiple phases of construction.
