Construction Laborer / Skilled Remodeling Technician

Preserve Home Improvements is hiring dependable construction workers ranging from entry-level laborers to experienced remodeling professionals. We perform residential roofing, remodeling and home-improvement projects throughout the Springfield and Dayton area. You do not need to know every trade. We are looking for people who work hard, show up consistently and are willing to learn. Experienced applicants should be able to complete assigned work correctly with limited supervision. Responsibilities may include: Demolition, cleanup and material handling Roofing and roof-deck replacement Framing and carpentry Drywall installation and finishing Flooring installation Door and window installation Painting and general remodeling Loading tools and materials Maintaining a clean and safe jobsite Following instructions and working effectively with the crew What we’re looking for: Dependable and punctual Strong work ethic and a positive attitude Able to perform physically demanding work Comfortable working outdoors and at heights when required Willing to learn and accept feedback Able to work safely and take care of customers’ homes Reliable transportation to jobsites or an agreed-upon meeting location Construction experience is helpful but not required for entry-level applicants For skilled applicants: Higher starting pay is available for candidates who can demonstrate experience in roofing, framing, drywall, flooring, finish carpentry or general remodeling. Pay will reflect your ability to work independently, solve problems and produce professional-quality results. Basic hand tools are helpful. Skilled applicants should have the tools normally required for their trade
