Position Summary:
Anistar is seeking Entry Level Cable Technicians for a long term opportunity to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables in a new construction environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the pulling/installation of new fiber/cat6 cables in a new construction environment
- Rack and cabinet fabrication and installation
- Installation of cable support structures - fiber tray, cable tray, ladder rack, etc.
- Manual labor - moving boxes and materials around the job site
- Must be able to follow directions and learn
- Must have prior commercial new construction experience
- Must be able to work with a large team
Requirements:- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated work platforms (Boom and/or scissor lift)
- Must be capable of lifting 50-75lbs
- Must be able to follow directions and learn
