    Pay: $60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year

    Location: This is a full-time, in-office opportunity based in Lexington, Kentucky, ideal for someone who thrives in a professional, team-oriented office environment.

    Note: Candidates must have at least 3 years of directly relevant litigation legal assistant experience, including experience supporting matters from pre-trial through trial and post-trial activities.

    Job Description

    • Provide day-to-day support to attorneys in a busy Construction practice
    • Prepare, format, revise, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, contracts, correspondence, and trial materials
    • Assist with litigation case management from pre-trial through trial and post-trial phases
    • Organize, retrieve, review, and manage large volumes of documents for active matters and major projects
    • Prepare deposition exhibits, trial exhibits, binders, and other case materials
    • Maintain organized electronic and physical files, including indexing and document tracking
    • Coordinate discovery, filing, document production, and other case support functions
    • Assist with monthly billing and invoicing
    • Support attorneys with administrative and miscellaneous tasks that help keep matters moving efficiently

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience
    • Experience supporting cases through pre-trial, trial, and post-trial phases
    • Strong document production, organization, and case management skills
    • Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including track changes, formatting, numbering, and internal references
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Experience with litigation support and document management platforms is strongly preferred
    • Experience supporting construction law matters is a plus
    • Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or relevant legal training preferred
