Construction Litigation Associate Attorney

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze legal issues and prepare briefs, motions, and legal memoranda
• Draft pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents
• Manage written discovery, document review, and case preparation
• Attend and handle court appearances, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations
• Participate in depositions, including preparation and defense
• Support settlement negotiations and dispute resolution efforts
• Assist with transactional matters related to construction and commercial projects
• Maintain strong communication with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar admission required
• 4 6 years of litigation experience, preferably in construction or commercial law
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience handling pleadings, motions, discovery, and case management
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
• Excellent communication, organization, and professional judgment
