The Construction Management Associate is responsible for assisting the Construction Manager in all aspects related to a construction project. This will include, but not be limited to, General Contracting projects, larger-scale Contracting Patch and Repair Projects, TremCares, etc. This will involve working closely with the Construction Manager, Project Superintendent, or WTI Technician assigned to the project to ensure the project is executed effectively, completed safely, and all contractual obligations are adhered to. Additional duties will include participating in on-site meetings, developing the scope of work, reviewing proposals, specifications, and project schedules, assembling project submittals, obtaining building permits, and completing project closeout documents, as well as other duties as directed by the Construction Manager.
Essential duties and responsibilities include contributing to and validating proposals and specifications, assisting the Construction Manager in tracking project costs, budget variances, and profitability, ensuring subcontractor has submitted the required documents, establishing timelines and goals, managing key metrics and reporting on as required, coordinating with Program Managers, Project Administrators, Project Estimators, Specification Writers, Sales Representatives, and RBM, and assisting in the review of submitted proposals and contractor interviews for specification and contractual compliance.
Competencies include being adaptable, professional, diversity awareness, planning and organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, technical knowledge of all products and services that WTI offers, understanding of Construction Management tasks, superior written, oral, and digital communication skills, ability to create performance reporting, 24-hour response to all inquiries, and ability to use and understand Microsoft Office and other software as required.
Other requirements include the ability to travel out of town, which may include overnight travel, having transportation and a valid driver's license, ability to work weekends and/or holidays if needed, ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, ability to read, write, and speak English, and open to relocation after completion of the program.
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $54,549 and $68,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
