JSG is recruiting a Construction Manager to lead critical infrastructure projects in Binghamton, NY. This role offers the opportunity to oversee complex energized work environments, ensuring safety, compliance, and successful project execution. Pay $62/hour

Required Skills:

• 5–7 years of experience in transmission line construction, including at least 2 years in energized work environments
• Proven ability to supervise field crews, subcontractors, and equipment
• Strong understanding of live-line maintenance techniques (barehand, hot stick, rubber glove)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and switching orders
• Knowledge of safety standards such as OSHA, NESC, and utility-specific energized work protocols
• Excellent communication skills for conducting pre-job briefings and hazard assessments
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills on-site with ability to monitor progress and resolve issues efficiently

Nice to Have Skills:

• OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) or equivalent credentials
• NERC CIP awareness
• Experience with grounding practices, lockout/tagout, and switching coordination
