Keiser University's Jacksonville campus is seeking qualified and industry‑experienced professionals to join our faculty as instructors in the Bachelor of Science in Applied Construction Management program. This new, workforce‑aligned degree prepares students for leadership roles in residential, commercial, industrial, and civil construction. We are looking for dedicated educators who are passionate about developing the next generation of construction managers and industry leaders.
Position Overview:
The instructor will teach undergraduate courses in applied construction management, including topics such as construction methods, project scheduling, cost estimating, construction safety, contracts and regulations, and emerging construction technologies. Faculty members are expected to deliver engaging instruction, support student learning, and contribute to the academic growth of the program.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate courses in construction management using applied, hands‑on instructional methods
- Develop and update course materials to align with industry standards and program outcomes
- Support student learning through mentorship, academic guidance, and timely feedback
- Incorporate real‑world applications, case studies, and project‑based learning
- Participate in program assessment and continuous improvement initiatives
- Engage with industry partners to enhance experiential learning opportunities
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field
- Minimum of three years of professional construction industry experience
- Strong knowledge of construction operations, project management, and safety practices
- Commitment to student success and high‑quality instruction
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CM‑BIM, AC)
- Experience teaching at the college level
- Familiarity with construction management software and digital tools
