Schedule: Hybrid – 60% in office / 40% in field
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM (AZ Time)

The Construction Manager oversees small cell and node construction projects, ensuring timely, safe, and budget-aligned delivery. This role requires strong project management skills, technical knowledge of fiber and node construction, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, permitting, operations, and delivery teams. The Construction Manager will prepare construction work packages, coordinate vendors, resolve field issues, and support the full lifecycle of network build projects.

Create construction work packages for vendors.
Coordinate schedules, field activities, and inspections.
Communicate issues proactively before they become critical.
Resolve construction challenges on-site and ensure build quality.
Support safe sub-surface construction using 811 processes and best practices.
Review and interpret fiber and small cell construction drawings.
Manage node and power construction (pole installs, foundations, power, RF components).
Support troubleshooting for construction and RF installations.
Understand the full process for delivering metered power to small cell sites.
Collect data and generate reports for project KPIs (on-time installs, fiber completion, LCD, safety, revenue metrics).
Track progress, identify obstacles, and provide accurate updates.
Maintain open communication across engineering, permitting, and operational teams.
Manage vendor communication on timelines, milestones, safety, and billing.
Prepare and submit purchase orders; process contractor invoices.
Track and resolve past-due invoices; support forecasting and financial accuracy.
Assist with service delivery and closeout package review.
Update internal company tools and attend cross-functional meetings.
Support project delivery with correspondence, POs, invoicing, and documentation.
High School Diploma required
Valid Driver's License
OSHA 10 preferred
3+ years of telecommunications/wireless construction experience
Strong knowledge of OSP construction (aerial & underground)
Experience with small cell, node construction, and design
Familiarity with OTDR, PIM, and SWEEP testing
Understanding of NESC, NEC, and OSHA standards
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Strong workflow troubleshooting & critical path management
Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
Excellent computer skills: MS Office, Smartsheets, Excel
Knowledge of budget development and construction management processes
40% field work: Exposure to heavy equipment and outdoor environments
60% office work: Standard office environment
