About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead the on-site coordination and execution of single-family home construction projects in the Chattanooga area. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience managing residential builds from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of construction for multiple single-family homes
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, materials, and inspections
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance with local building codes
• Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including developers, superintendents, and inspectors
• Identify and resolve issues proactively to avoid delays
• Conduct regular site walkthroughs and manage punch lists

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience managing residential construction (single-family preferred)
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building codes
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
• Proficient with scheduling software and project management tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred:

• OSHA 30 certification
• Experience in the Chattanooga market
• Background in working with production or custom home builders
