Amazon"s Global Engineering Services (GES) North America Design & Construction team is seeking a Construction Manager to serve as Amazon"s owner"s representative in the delivery of built facilities and infrastructure supporting our logistics network. In this role, you will manage the full construction lifecycle - from design review and contractor procurement through construction execution and operational handover - for new builds, retrofits, expansions, and program initiatives across your assigned region.
You will be the primary point of interface between Amazon and its external partners, including developers, general contractors, design engineers, and regulatory authorities, while serving as the key integrator between construction and the internal Amazon teams responsible for equipping, furnishing, and operating our facilities. Projects range from targeted renovations to large-scale new facility builds, including fulfillment centers, sortation centers, delivery stations, and auxiliary buildings.
This role requires strong technical construction expertise, sharp commercial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects independently. You will bring a disciplined approach to safety, budget management, schedule oversight, contract execution, and stakeholder communication - all in service of delivering world-class facilities for Amazon"s customers.
This role requires 60% regional travel and availability to work from a corporate office when not traveling. Candidates should either live near or be willing to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance of the office. Relocation assistance may be provided.
