As a Construction Manager at Axis Energy you would be responsible for ensuring the quality schedule and overall implementation of assigned projects. This position will require you to demonstrate a wide range of knowledge and experience with electrical solar specific and general construction field management.PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBLITIESManages the profitable execution of assigned projects. Ensures that assigned projects are done accurately on-time billed within budget and within scope of the contract. Maintains profitability goals and positive cash flow for assigned projects.Understands project scope and customer expectations. Utilizes resource planning techniques to gain high productivity from team members.Plans schedulesand controls project activities. Broad knowledge of commercial and contractual complexity deal structure financial acumen disciplines of supply chain negotiation skills communication skills and strong c-level relationships.Provides Weekly reporting of project status labor requirements and material requirements.Provides monthly reporting of Project financial status and participates in the Monthly Project reviews as needed.Establish long term customer and contractor relationships.Develops and adheres to a Project Execution Plan for each assigned project.Establishes customer touch points throughout the life cycle of projects to gain feedback on customer satisfaction. Provides leadership by demonstrating focus on exceeding customers’ expectations.Effectively communicates the status of assigned projects to Project Manager as required and provides monthly forecasts of revenue costs.Fosters and maintains good working relationships with subcontractors.Fosters and maintains good working relationships with partners.Ensures compliance with state local and federal legal requirements.Ensure business is conducted with the highest ethical standards.Champions and drives the Axis Energy Safety Program for employees and subcontractors at all levels.Perform additional assignments as directed by the Operations Manager. Desired Skills & ExperienceBachelor&rsquos degree from an accredited college or university in construction management OR equivalent combination of industry experience education and training.5 years in Solar Construction.Experience with Microsoft Office including Word Excel and ProjectReads and understands blueprintsAbility to work well with others in a collaborative team environmentSelf-motivatedHonest reliable self-aware and conscientiousDirect ReportsField PersonnelElectriciansTechniciansThe Construction Manager reports directly to the Operations Manager.
