Our client is an engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) services company supporting complex industrial and energy-sector projects. They work closely with utility and infrastructure clients, providing project execution, administrative oversight, and specialized management support across the full project lifecycle. Our client frequently partners with external agencies to supplement staffing needs for large-scale, time-bound projects. 

Job Summary

The Construction Manager position is responsible for managing construction efforts particularly in the areas of constructability, execution plan development, staffing and planning prior to mobilization, and upon site mobilization, responsible for providing the site construction leadership for the construction performance and successful completion through mechanical completion, commissioning and start-up. We are currently looking for a driven, energetic person with 10-30 years’ construction management experience. Positions based in Texas and Eastern half of the USA.

Job Description

• Manage the development and implementation of the overall construction execution plan.
• Provide “Constructability” input on the engineering and design effort including modularization.
• Oversee all contractors’ construction-related activities, assuring the successful completion of the work in accordance with the project schedule, contract specifications, and governing codes.
• Ensure that a major focus on safety is maintained in every aspect of construction during the planning and execution phases.
• Support change management and site contracts administration of change orders.
• Provide site construction leadership for construction performance and successful completion through mechanical completion, commissioning, and start-up.

Skills Required

• Knowledge and experience managing construction work with the various types of contractual commercial terms of construction subcontractors.
• Experience supporting change management and site contracts administration of change orders.
• Strong understanding of constructability, execution plan development, staffing, and planning prior to mobilization.
• Experience overseeing contractor construction activities and ensuring compliance with project schedules, contract specifications, and governing codes.
• Commitment to maintaining safety throughout construction planning and execution phases.

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Degree or GED required
