Description
Audubon is currently seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team in our Off-Site Office for a short-term field assignment supporting the construction of a large above-ground water storage facility in Converse County Wyoming. This role is ideal for a seasoned field professional who can step in quickly and effectively manage on-site construction activities in a fast-paced environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage day-to-day construction activities on-site
Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and field teams
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Monitor project progress and maintain schedule adherence
Perform quality control oversight and inspections
Provide regular updates to project leadership
Identify and resolve field issues to maintain efficiency
Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities
All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. This includes:
Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safety
Participating in required HSE training meetings and reporting activities
Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions
Following safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirements
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Strong experience managing industrial or infrastructure construction projects
Experience with large tanks, water storage, or similar facilities preferred
Proven leadership and field coordination skills
Ability to work extended schedules: 6 days/week, 10-hour days
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
