Our client, an established engineering and public works consulting organization serving communities throughout New Jersey, is seeking an experienced Construction Manager for its Mount Holly office.

This position is ideal for an engineering graduate who has moved into construction/project management and brings experience overseeing public-sector, municipal, infrastructure, utility, or similar construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee construction projects from planning through completion
• Manage project schedules, budgets, documentation, and reporting
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, and contracts
• Conduct site visits and monitor construction progress and quality
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, clients, and internal project teams
• Track project costs, timelines, change orders, and deliverables
• Support permitting, inspections, construction administration, and project closeout
• Maintain compliance with applicable safety and construction requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
• 3 7+ years of related construction/project management experience
• Public-sector, municipal, infrastructure, or public works experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction documents and project controls
• Experience with construction management software such as Primavera, Prolog, Bluebeam, or similar tools
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• PE designation is preferred but not required
• Experience with underground utilities, water/wastewater facilities, or building construction is an asset

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mount Holly, NJ.

Salary: $90,000 $115,000, based on experience.
