Join us. **Job Description** AECOM is seeking a **Construction Manager.** This role will operate at cross section between multiple divisional personnel, senior leadership, program management, and key stakeholders. This position will be on site in Sacramento, CA. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead end-to-end management of workplace construction and renovation projects from + concept through occupancy. + Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource planning. + Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout project lifecycles. + Oversee tenant improvements (TI), office renovations, workplace modernization initiatives, + and infrastructure upgrades. + Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, environmental + requirements, and corporate standards. + Strategic planning of office and labs. + Manage contractor selection, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and project execution. + Monitor construction progress, conduct site inspections, and resolve project issues + proactively. + Track project budgets, approve invoices, manage change orders, and provide financial + reporting. + Partner with Facilities, IT, Security, EHS, HR, and business leaders to ensure successful project deliver. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + BA/BS plus four years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with hyperscale mission critical/data center construction projects. + PMP or similar certifications preferred. + Six years of related experience. + Strong understanding of quality and safety culture, regulatory compliance, assurance, and governance expectations. + OSHA 30 certification with experience creating a strong safety culture. **Additional Information** + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. + Relocation is not available for this position At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously. **_To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment._** Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
