Construction Manager - Remodeling

We are seeking a Remodeling Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain safe and clean job sites every day
• Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Schedule and supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with clients, subcontractors and suppliers, architects, engineers, city/county officials
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable change order or additional work order costs
• Maintain highest standard of workmanship, adhering to building codes, plans, and specifications

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction management and/or superintendence
• Familiarity with construction management scheduling tools
• Familiarity with master tradesmen responsibilities
• Strong leadership qualities
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Extraordinary attention to detail as related to plan implementation and fit and finish on projects
• Excellent communication and customer satisfaction skills
• Proficient with computers, email, text communication, etc.
• Fluent English speaking
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful
• Honest, dedicated, personable

We are an intentionally small but growing remodeling firm specializing in high-end projects in Fairfax, Old Town Alexandria, Arlington & surrounding areas. We have been in business 18+ years and are looking for one individual with the right experience, abilities, and character to compliment our team and future growth.

We offer:
+ Competitive pay with annual raises and bonuses (salary is negotiable - commensurate with candidate's skills/experience)
+ Monthly car/gas allowance
+ Vacation pay - 1 week per year after 1 year service - 2 weeks per year after 5 years service
+ SEP (Simplified Employee Pension) After 2 years of continuous service. Company contributes up to 25% of employee's total annual income into employee's personal SEP IRA. No employee contribution required.
+ We do not offer a medical insurance plan.
