The Construction Manager/Resident Engineer selected for this opportunity will gain key public sector experience in construction of wastewater treatment plants that can effectively position you to pursue and obtain key, sought-after public sector jobs. We are looking for a Resident Engineer that has 8+ years of experience with wastewater treatment plant and related infrastructure construction to work on-site and full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) in the Orange County area.
Projects may include:
- Plant 1 Headworks Replacement Project
- Liftstation and Sewer System Rehabilitation and Replacement
As a Construction Manager/Resident Engineer, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Implement and enforce the project’s Quality Plan to ensure all contract requirements are met.
- Respond to RFIs and RFCs, manage contract change processes, and prepare engineer’s estimates and change orders.
- Lead reviews of contractor submittals and commissioning plans to confirm compliance with project specifications.
- Serve as the primary client interface, coordinating with designers, contractors, and other stakeholders, coordinating activities with outside agencies.
- Coordinate and manage on-site personnel, oversee testing agencies, and maintain project records.
- Prepare and review progress reports and assist with substantial and final completion documents.
