Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 50 hours per week, flexible start/end times between 6 AM and 4 PM
Per Diem: $178/day - 7-days per week
Overview
System One is seeking a Construction Manager in Rogers, NM to manage multiple projects and orchestrate the results to achieve a broader program goal. The Construction Manager will plan and implement schedules, monitor program from inception through delivery, ensuring all deadlines are met. Defines and reports program status, development issues and success metrics. Identifies and monitors areas of risk. Continuously seeks opportunities to improve cost, performance and schedule. Manages to budgets. Facilitates communication and coordination among projects. Manages stakeholder engagement and satisfaction. Maintains awareness of trends, business conditions and internal process and practices impacting component projects or overall program. Responsibilities
Coordinate and complete small to moderate scope projects, including subprojects within larger, complex programs, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, orchestrating results to meet broad program goals.
Develop and implement project schedules, monitor progress from inception through delivery, and ensure all deadlines are met.
Define and report on program status, development issues, success metrics, and risk areas, seeking continuous improvement in cost, performance, and schedule.
Manage project budgets and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders and team members.
Oversee daily construction activities on-site, verify work safety and quality, and inspect progress, especially for Battery Energy Storage System construction milestones.
Attend project meetings, prepare weekly reports, and provide guidance and recommendations based on project observations.
Monitor and report on delivery and installation activities, especially related to racking systems, inverters, and other solar/BESS components.
Ensure adherence to construction best practices, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Requirements
10-15 years of experience in mechanical, civil, or related disciplines with a strong safety background.
Prior leadership experience managing construction teams, with the ability to motivate and guide personnel.
Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, PowerPoint, ArcGIS, and Procore.
Excellent communication skills, capable of providing clear directions and reports, with strong problem-solving abilities.
Deep knowledge of construction best practices for solar and BESS projects, including experience with racking systems, inverters, and related components.
Ability to interpret drawings, verify work accuracy, and follow schedules strictly.
