Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.
• Coordinate and manage large craft labor forces on-site.
• Engage in pull planning, look-ahead scheduling, and recovery planning to ensure project timelines are met.
• Conduct reading of plans and specifications, shop drawing reviews, and constructability reviews.
• Provide solutions to field problems and ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage projects involving airport terminals, concourses, airside, and landside construction.
• Coordinate with airport operations and TSA for project alignment.
• Lead airport expansion programs and oversee runway/taxiway projects.

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction management and field superintendent roles.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and airport construction environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex construction projects and coordinate between trades.
• Experience with Baggage Handling Systems (BHS), Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB), and Consolidated Rental Car Centers (ConRAC).
• Knowledge of hydrant fuel systems and airfield construction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with airport operations coordination and TSA coordination.

Work Environment

This role involves both office and field work, with a base office located near SFO. The position requires frequent travel and is part of a company that is 100% employee-owned, offering an ESOP. The work environment is dynamic, challenging, and ideal for those who enjoy working in varied settings including airside and landside construction areas.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Francisco, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $100.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
