Description
The Construction Manager selected for this opportunity will gain key public sector experience in stormwater construction that can effectively position you to pursue and obtain key, sought-after public sector jobs. We are looking for a Civil Engineer that has 2+ years of experience in stormwater and/or wastewater construction management. This position will be on-site, part-time and full-time in the Los Angeles area.

Collection Systems
Stormwater Capture and BMPs
As a Construction Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Review and interpret contractor baseline CPM schedules and monitor ongoing schedule updates
Track construction progress and identify schedule impacts
Review and approve shop drawings, ensuring City comments are accurate and applicable
Evaluate and respond to contractor RFIs
Proactively identify construction issues and implement practical solutions
Prepare and review construction cost estimates
Maintain organized and accurate construction documentation
Lead on-site focus meetings to resolve project issues and distribute meeting minutes
Ensure compliance with contract requirements and environmental regulations
Provide regular status reports to City Management on budget, schedule, and project risks
