Title: Construction Manager
Location: Central Florida (local candidates preferred)
Duration: 12-month contract (potential for extension)
Schedule: 60 hours/week
Pay range: $75-$85/hour, all hours worked; DOE
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support a large civil construction project. This role will act as the owner’s representative in the field and oversee multiple contractors performing earthwork and road construction activities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction activities and contractor performance
- Manage field coordination, schedule, and execution
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, safety, and quality standards
- Interface with project stakeholders and provide field updates
- Support field decision-making and project documentation
Qualifications
- 20+ years of construction experience
- Strong background in civil construction (earthwork, grading, roads)
- Experience working in an owner’s representative capacity
- Ability to manage multiple contractors and drive project execution
