We are seeking a **Construction Manager** to join our team in the greater **Seattle** area. In this role you will lead and manage all aspects of utility construction for various types of telecom projects overseeing site planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation. **Why TAK?** + Full Time + Paid Weekly + Compensation: **$90K - $135K annually, DOE** + Full Benefits Package (Medical, Dental & Vision) + Vacation: 80 hours accrued annually + Sick Time: Accrue 1 hour for every 30 hours worked + Holidays: Up to 6 days annually + 401(k) with Company Match! + 25K Company Paid Life Insurance + Independent Work & Team Collaboration + Career Development & Advancement Opportunities! **The Role** + Lead and manage all aspects of utility construction for various types of telecom projects + Oversee site planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation + Supervise and coordinate onsite construction activities, ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes and safety regulations + Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues or risks and implement corrective actions as needed + Manage relationships with external contractors, vendors and suppliers, ensure alignment with project requirements and company standards + Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, construction drawings, permits and change orders + Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, provide regular updates on project status, milestones and budgetary considerations + Implement and enforce best practices for construction quality control, safety protocol and environmental compliance + Work a flexible schedule with varied hours; some evenings and weekends as needed + Other duties as assigned Requirements + 8-10 years of total relevant experience including at least 5 years of recent experience in a supervisory/leadership role + Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or relevant field of study; or equivalent work experience + Knowledge and prior work experience in telecom construction industry - Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, map reading, etc. + Knowledge and experience with aerial and underground construction + OSHA 10 certification a plus + Practical knowledge of Network operations and associated inventory for both RF and fiber networks + Experience in estimating, bidding projects and change order preparation + Problem-solving and like to troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field + Embrace the challenge of coaching and mentoring your team + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom software + Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills + Professional demeanor + Must possess the capacity to learn, adapt to change, and become proficient quickly + Ability to manage stress, exercise self-control, adhere to company policies and uphold the mission of the organization + Ability to work a flexible schedule with varied hours; some evenings and weekends as needed + Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver's license is required if the role involves driving + Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen) _The compensation and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
