We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team. This role is a full‑time on‑site position (40 hours per week) supporting active construction projects throughout the Phoenix Metro area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as Liaison or Main Contact Coordinator with Client, City, Owner, and Contractor during construction projects.
  • Review project plans, requirements, and specifications to develop a comprehensive understanding of the project.
  • Facilitate Progress/Owner Meetings.
  • Prepare Meeting Minutes and distribute to Project Team.
  • Interpret and provide recommendations for the Prime Contract between Contractor and City/Owner.
  • Oversee Construction Contract, Budget, Review Schedule of Values, and Payment Applications submitted by Contractor.
  • Review Contractors Schedules; Provide Comments to Contractor and City/Owner.
  • Review Cost Proposals from the Contractor; Provide recommendations to City/Owner.
  • Perform inspections of work performed by the Contractor, including coordination with subconsultants, etc.
  • Take photographs and prepare daily reports documenting work activities performed and whether they comply with project requirements.
  • Prepare project punch lists, review contractor redlines, and prepare project close out documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Civil Engineering. A Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration is preferred.
  • Applicable experience of 4-8 years working in the water, wastewater, transportation, or civil construction industry. Preferably as a Construction Manager, Field Engineer, Civil Construction Inspector, or similar may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Knowledge of construction means & methods and quality control measures, along with knowledge and experience in water/wastewater construction, is a plus.
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual able to meet challenging time constraints.
  • Proficient with Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Project and P6 Scheduling software is a plus.
