What You Can Expect
ENGIE is seeking a Construction Manager II to join our Capital Projects team at the University of Iowa. This role is responsible for managing utility infrastructure capital projects across two university campuses, ranging from $100K to $20M and typically spanning 1-3 years. The Construction Manager II will oversee multiple projects, ensuring alignment from development through handover, while enforcing ENGIE's high standards for safety, quality, and stakeholder collaboration.
This role offers the opportunity to lead one of the University's most complex and high-profile infrastructure initiatives-an approximately 800-linear-foot steam tunnel replacement through the heart of campus. This critical project will require construction leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic coordination across university departments, contractors, and campus partners while maintaining uninterrupted campus operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of the University's utility infrastructure while delivering a project with significant visibility and long-term impact.

Salary Range: $77,100 - $118,220 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
