    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and oversee construction management activities for significant water and wastewater treatment plant & infrastructure projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and contractors, to manage and monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining open lines of communication and addressing client needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Leverage your extensive business development experience to identify, pursue, and secure new project opportunities within the civil engineering industry, particularly with municipal clients in Orange County, California. .
    • Foster a safe, positive, and collaborative team culture, leading by example and contributing to the overall success of the team.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. (Master's degree is a plus)
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management of large-scale water and wastewater projects for municipal or federal clients (i.e. water treatment plants, Pump stations, lift stations, etc.)
    • Proven track record of successful business development in the civil engineering sector, specifically with municipalities in Orange County, California.
    • Strong understanding of construction regulations, industry standards, and best practices within the water and wastewater treatment plant sector.
    • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and foster collaborative working relationships.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and maintain strong client relationships and successfully navigate negotiations.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools to facilitate efficient project tracking and reporting.
    • Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
    Pluses:
    • Registered Professional Engineer
    • OSHA-30 Hour
    • Proficiency with Primavera, MS Project, Excel, and Word
