This position involves observing and documenting construction activities, sampling and testing soils, aggregates, concrete, and structural materials, performing calculations and drafting, and using field screening equipment.
It requires reading plans, following directions, and communicating daily with contractors and project teams, with opportunities to represent the company on-site.
Ideal candidates are actively pursuing a civil engineering or related degree, interested in construction materials, able to lift 40-70 lbs regularly, and have reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed).
