Construction Multifamily Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead the field execution of multifamily podium projects throughout the Los Angeles market. This position is responsible for overseeing daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing quality and safety standards, and ensuring construction progresses according to plans and specifications.

The ideal candidate has direct experience delivering ground up multifamily developments utilizing podium construction, including Type III or Type V wood framing over Type I concrete structures. This individual should be comfortable managing complex urban projects from sitework and foundations through turnover and closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site leadership and oversight for commercial construction projects.
• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to maintain smooth daily operations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and relationship management.
• Monitor and enforce safety standards in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular progress meetings with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve construction challenges and conflicts in a timely manner.
• Work closely with project managers and leadership to align construction execution with strategic goals.
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience completing multifamily podium projects in Los Angeles or Southern California

• Experience with large apartment, mixed use, wrap, or high density residential developments

• Experience managing projects with below grade parking, structured parking, concrete podium decks, and multiple levels of wood framing

• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction technology

• OSHA 30 certification

• Experience working with Los Angeles permitting agencies, inspectors, and local trade partners
