Position Overview
The Construction Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained through routine inspections and repairs. This Construction Maintenance Technician role involves a wide range of maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and general repairs. The ideal Construction Maintenance Technician is hands-on, dependable, and able to troubleshoot issues independently.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous experience in maintenance, construction, or handyman work preferred
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Good communication and customer service abilities
Valid driver s license (if travel is required)
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry
Complete minor HVAC-related tasks as needed
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
Conduct routine inspections and identify safety or repair issues
Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition
Coordinate with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs
Maintain clean and safe work areas
Support upkeep of grounds and common areas
Follow all company policies and safety procedures
Work Environment
Combination of indoor and outdoor work
Exposure to tools, equipment, and varying weather conditions
Physically active role requiring lifting, climbing, and extended movement
