Construction Permit Coordinator- Sugar Land
A well-known homebuilder located in the Sugar Land area is seeking a Construction Permit Coordinator. Candidates must have previous or current experience working with a residential homebuilder, commercial real estate firm, or a construction company. Responsibilities include:
Coordinate and manage the ordering of plats, as-built documents, and address plats for Construction and Sales teams.
Research municipal utility district (MUD) requirements and city regulations related to water taps, permits, and development approvals.
Submit applications for Developer and/or HOA approvals and monitor progress through completion.
Prepare and process payments for permits, water taps, impact fees, and other related expenses.
Coordinate the installation and processing of water taps, electrical meters, and utility services for individual homesites.
Maintain and update start reports for assigned communities and jurisdictions, including tracking lot purchases and construction activity.
Enter and maintain accurate project and completion data within internal systems as homes progress through construction.
