The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies.

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist III (Cost Analyst) to support the Los Angeles Community College District's capital improvement program. This position is ideal for professionals with strong construction cost controls, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis experience supporting large capital construction program.

*Salary Range: $120K/Year-$130K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications

Hybrid Schedule: One (1) work-from-home (WFH) day per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, and cost reporting
  • Participate in Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews and variance analysis
  • Review project expenditures and cost performance trends
  • Support change management and risk assessment activities
  • Assist with budget transfers, change orders, amendments, and financial documentation
  • Generate financial and budget reports for project stakeholders
  • Collaborate with scheduling and project management teams regarding cash flow and project performance
  • Support reconciliation and financial closeout activities

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in project controls and/or cost analysis supporting construction programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
  • Experience supporting projects throughout the full project lifecycle
  • Knowledge of cost management, forecasting, earned value management, and risk analysis
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Proliance, Deltek Costpoint, or similar systems
  • Educational facility or public sector program experience preferred
