Construction Project Coordinator
St. Paul, MN | Direct Hire | $31.25 - $36.00/hr | On-Site | Half-Day Fridays
Konik is partnering with a specialty metals fabrication company to add a Project Coordinator to their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a growing team focused on delivering high-end residential and commercial properties. The Project Coordinator will work directly with project managers and engineering teams to ensure projects run on schedule, within budget, and to specification. Construction Project Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing projects from initial planning to project closeout.
- Help develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to collect important project details (blueprints, schematics, and construction documents) and coordinate on project tasks and timelines.
- Organize, update, and maintain project documentation such as drawings, contracts, and change orders.
- Support project estimation by performing take-offs and cost estimations for materials and labor.
- Perform site visits and inspections as needed to ensure quality, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction.
- Manage material ordering and ensure timely delivery of components.
- Monitor the progress of ongoing projects and resolve issues as they arise.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure expectations are met.
- Track project timelines and budgets, assist in risk management, and support financial reporting.
Construction Project Coordinator Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project coordination, or similar role.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications.
- Previous experience in an architectural metals or a similar fabricated construction product setting is ideal.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and construction-specific software (Bluebeam, Procore, etc.) is beneficial.
- A strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly wage: $31.25 - $36.00/hr (depending on experience)
- Overtime: May be available during peak project seasons.
- Schedule: 7 am - 4:30 pm, Monday-Thursday; 7 am - 11 am Fridays
